How to Join the Cables Points Program: Your Full Checklist

The Cables Points Program is your on-ramp into the ecosystem before full trading goes live. This is more than simply a pre-launch campaign: it’s the first real opportunity for users to become stakeholders in the protocol ahead of the TGE. By staking assets, inviting others, and participating in future campaigns and voting events, users begin building a position that will influence long-term access, rewards, and governance in the Cables ecosystem.

If you’re new to Cables or just getting up to speed, this checklist will walk you through exactly how to get started, what to expect at launch, and how to set yourself up for maximum upside.

What Is the Cables Points Program?

The Points Program is Cables’ first major system for rewarding early alignment. It’s designed to track meaningful user behavior – staking, referrals, voting, and more – and convert that into real weight across the protocol. Points accumulate over time, unlocking tier progression and future benefits. The earlier and more consistently you participate, the greater your standing becomes.

Importantly, this isn’t a click-and-claim system. Every action carries real value. Whether you’re staking for yield, helping grow the network through referrals, or eventually voting on asset listings, the goal is the same: reward users who help build the foundation of the platform

Before You Begin: Setup and Requirements

To participate, you’ll need a self-custody Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask or Phantom wallet. Make sure it’s set to Ethereum Mainnet – all program activity will take place onchain via Ethereum. Once you’re connected, visit the Points Program interface to get started.

To stake, you’ll need ETH to cover gas fees and at least one of the supported staking assets in your wallet. At launch, the accepted tokens will include ETH, USDC, USDT, and sUSDe. Each asset carries a different base multiplier, which will affect how many points you generate over time.

If you were accepted into the Cables whitelist earlier this year, you’re already ahead. Whitelisted wallets will automatically receive bonus multipliers when the program begins. Email confirmations with further details will be sent directly to the addresses associated with those submissions. Make sure you have access to that inbox – it’ll include information on your boosted point rate.

How Points and Multipliers Work

Once you’re set up, the real action begins. The program’s point system isn’t static — it’s built to reward both timing and consistency. The most fundamental way to earn points is by staking eligible assets. When you deposit into the system, you’ll select a staking duration. The longer your lockup and the more aligned your capital, the higher your point multiplier.

But staking is just the start. Once live, users will also receive a custom referral link they can share across platforms. When someone joins using your link and begins participating, you’ll earn a share of their points over time. The more referrals you bring in, the more your rewards compound.

Voting will also play a major role – but not immediately. While not available on day one, the voting interface will launch shortly after the initial release. Once live, it will allow users to signal which assets should be listed next on Cables – including global currencies, gold-backed tokens, or other RWAs. Every vote earns additional points and provides real input into product direction.

All of these mechanisms – staking, referring, voting – layer on top of one another. The more actions you take, and the earlier you take them, the more your point total will benefit from compounding multipliers. If you’re looking to establish a real presence within the Cables system, this is how it starts.

Tiers, Visibility, and Reputation

As points accrue, users will progress through visible tiers that track their level of engagement and contribution. These tiers aren’t just cosmetic. They’re tied to reputation and access – both during the campaign and long after it ends.

Higher tiers will help determine eligibility for future rewards, token distribution events, and feature unlocks as the platform evolves. Early participants who commit capital, refer new users, and take part in governance will find themselves in a stronger long-term position than those who wait.

The system is built to remember who showed up early – and reward accordingly.

The Next Step Starts Now

The Points Program is more than a campaign — it’s the starting point for building real weight in the Cables ecosystem. Every deposit, referral, and action you take becomes part of your onchain profile, and will shape your influence in the protocol’s next phases.

If you haven’t yet, make sure your wallet is ready, your assets are funded, and your email (if whitelisted) is monitored for confirmation. Early action doesn’t just earn points, it builds leverage.
